The Adjunct Alert was started by an online professor, instructional designer, and course developer with more than 20 years of experience in distance education.

Our mission is to connect online educators with online job opportunities at colleges and universities.
Why I started it
Searching college career sites by hand, one by one, is tedious. I've done it for years. Along the way, I noticed that most of the openings I found were never posted on the big job boards. They were only on the college's own website.
I wish I'd had a service like this, and I know other professors like me would benefit from one…
So I built it!
What we do
That's our advantage. Every day, we check more than 4,000 college and university career pages ourselves, and we bring you the online teaching job leads we find there, not just the ones on the big job boards. We sort what we find by discipline and subject, then send you the job leads that match what you teach.
While we're on those career pages, we see more than adjunct openings. Full-time online teaching positions, academic leadership roles, instructional design, and other remote college jobs turn up too. They're rarer and harder to find, so we bring those to you as well, with our Premium plan.
Every lead links straight to the college's own posting. You apply directly with the college, on its own website.
We're not an employer, a recruiter, or a staffing agency. We find the openings, so you can spend your time applying instead of searching.
